Taboos and Issues provides a photocopiable source of materials for use with adult and young adult learners who would like the opportunity to discuss issues considered unsuitable for inclusion in general coursebooks.

There are 40 two-page units of discussion, reading and role play material. Each unit can be used as a one-off lesson with students who wish to discuss adult issues in English.

Topics covered include, death, swearing, violent sports, torture, divorce, lying, gay rights, gun possession animal rights, marriage, designer babies, sex, personal hygiene, euthanasia, nudity, racism and addiction.
